TERREBONNE PARISH RECREATION DISTRICT NO. 8 P.O. BOX 1642 HOUMA LA 70361 MINUTES REGULAR BOARD MEETING December 16, 2025   The Board of Commissioners of Recreation District No. 8 of the Parish of Terrebonne, State of Louisiana, met at the Donner Community Center on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Commissioners Present: Johnny Marks, Sue Adams, Darrell Hebert, John Campbell, Carlotta Bailey Commissioners Absent: None Others Present: Christina Brown (Secretary), Grayland Gibson (Employee), Freddie Goodwin (Employee) The Chairman, Johnny Marks, called the meeting to order at 6:54pm, and upon roll call, it was determined that a quorum was present to conduct business. Public Wishing to Address the Board: none Employees: Grayland Gibson- Presented Monthly Maintenance Report. Lights need replacement in gym ceiling and hallway. Also Heating need repair. Freddie Goodwin- Presented Monthly Maintenance Report. Bathrooms are currently being renovated. Heater needs a fuse change, and the lock on the rod iron gate on the posterior of gym need repair. Motion by Sue Adams, seconded by John Campbell to approve minutes with corrections for regular meeting of November 18, 2025. - Motion Passed. Motion by Darrell Hebert, seconded by Sue Adams to approve the invoices paid for the month of October 2025.- Motion Passed. Motion by Sue Adams, seconded by John Campbell to accept Financial Report (7). - Motion Passed. OLD BUSINESS: A. Review quotes for Linetec ballfield estimates at Devon Keller and Donner Gym B. Review quotes for Tony James ballfield estimates at Devon Keller and Donner Gym C. Review B& R Home Services NEW BUSINESS: A. Contact David to run an estimate on replacing the breaker panel at both gyms. Motion by John Campbell, seconded by Darrell Hebert to go into Executive Session (10). - Motion Passed. Motion by Darrell Hebert, seconded by John Campbell to come out of executive session at 7:46pm. - Motion Passed. Motion by John Campbell, seconded by Sue Adams to adjourn. - Motion Passed.
