Box 850, Laurel, MD 20725, (301) 739-6011, will conduct blasting operations from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026 in compliance with all Federal and State laws at the Beaver Creek Quarry at 10101 Mapleville Rd, Hagerstown in Washington County. Blasting will occur in the quarry between the hours of 8:00am and 1:00pm or between 1:00pm and 6:00pm Monday through Friday – weather permitting. This schedule will be followed except during adverse weather conditions that will prevent blasting or if the operator or public safety requires unscheduled detonations. A warning siren or horn will be sounded three (3) times each of a long duration (5 seconds plus), two (2) minutes before detonation. After the blast and once the area has been inspected by the blaster, one (1) long siren will be sounded as an "All Clear" signal.
