Legal Notice for Proposals The Summit Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors intends to request proposals from issuers of financial transaction devices, or processors of financial transaction devices for the purpose of Summit Soil and Water Conservation District payments by credit cards and other financial transaction devices. The Board of Supervisors have adopted a resolution authorizing the acceptance of payments by financial transaction devices for soil and water district expenses. A financial institution, issuer, or processor, interested in receiving a request for proposals is required to submit written notice of its interest to the Summit Soil and Water Conservation District, 1180 South Main St, Suite 230, Akron, OH 44301, or staff@summitoh.net, no later than noon EST on January 14th, 2026. The request for proposals will be mailed to financial institutions, issuers, or processors, by 4:00 pm EST on January 14th, 2026 to all firms who request it. The Summit Board of Supervisors may choose to contract with any or all of the entities submitting proposals, as appropriate, pursuant to ORC 940.111.
