TOWN OF FARMINGTON NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT   TAKE NOTICE that I, Michelle Finley, the undersigned, Receiver of Taxes and Assessments of the Town of Farmington, County of Ontario and the State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Farmington for the year 2026. For the purpose of receiving taxes on said roll, the following place, dates and times have been set: Farmington Town Hall, 1000 County Road 8, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday for the months of January through March. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning January 2nd, except for Holidays and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that taxes shall be received, without interest, on or before the 31st day of January. Thereafter, fees will be one (1) percent for the month of February and two (2) percent for the month of March 2026. Taxes may also be paid in installments. The first installment, or ½ (one-half) of the total amount, will be due by January 31, 2026. The second installment of the remaining half, plus additional fees, will be due by March 31, 2026. The installment plan can only be used if the first installment is made in January. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that pursuant to the provision of law, effective April 1, 2026, the tax roll, of the Town of Farmington, and all unpaid taxes will be turned over to the County Treasurer for additional fees and collection.
