NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Lehman Township Board of Supervisors will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 3:00 p.m., at the municipal building, 193 Municipal Drive, Bushkill, PA for proposed Ordinance No. 156, an ordinance establishing salaries and compensation by the implementation of Act 94 of 2024 of the Second Class Township Code, to adjust the compensation thresholds for supervisors compensation. The Ordinance shall state in its entirety: WHEREAS, the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has enacted Act 94 of 2024, setting parameters for the compensation of Township Supervisors of the second class, and: WHEREAS, the act provides that supervisors of Townships having a population of 10,000 to 14,900 may be compensated in an amount not to exceed $5,450.00 annually, and; WHEREAS, the population of Lehman Township is 10,843, and; NOW, THEREFORE it is hereby enacted and ordained as follow: Each supervisor of Lehman Township entering office after the effective date of this ordinance shall receive compensation as an elected township supervisor in the annual amount of $5,450.00.
