Legal Notice NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT TOWN OF HOPEWELL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT I, Denise L Hood, the undersigned collector of the taxes for the Town of Hopewell, County of Ontario and State of New York, have duly received the Tax Roll and the Warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Hopewell for the year of 2026. I have fixed the following place and dates for receiving taxes: Hopewell Town Hall, 2716 county road 47, Canandaigua, New York 14424. January 1 to March 31, 2026. Monday thru Thursday 8am – 12pm, 1pm- 4pm and Wednesday evenings 5pm- 7pm. Taxes may also be mailed to the address above. Taxes may be paid at any of the Canandaigua National Bank during the month of January, Full Payments Only. Taxes may be paid on line at www.townofhopewellny.gov at the payments tab. PLEASE MAKE FURTHER NOTICE that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2026 without penalty. Taxpayers have the option of a “two payment installment plan”. To participate, the first installment must be paid no later than January 31, 2026. On all taxes received after January 31, 2026 there will be an added interest of one percent (1%) for the month of February and two percent (2%) if paid in the month of March. Taxes unpaid by the business day on March 31, 2026 will be turned over to the Ontario County Treasurer for collection. Pursuant to Section 987, all tax collectors must send a notice to each taxpayer whose taxes remain unpaid on March 16, 2026.   Denise L.
