WICOMICO COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE   NOTICE OF HEARING BEFORE THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF WICOMICO COUNTY, MARYLAND   NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in compliance with Chapter 22 of the Wicomico County Code and the Local Government Article, Section 10-312, of the Annotated Code of Maryland, that the County Council of Wicomico County, Maryland will hear public comments on the following proposed Resolution at their regular meeting in the County Council Chambers, Government Office Building in Salisbury, Maryland, on:   TUESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2026 Commencing at 10:00 a.m.   The County Council proposes to enter into two separate Concession Agreements with Enterprise RAC Company of Baltimore, LLC and Avis Budget Car Rental, LLC for the use of areas assigned at the Salisbury-Ocean City: Wicomico County Regional Airport for the operation of a car rental business. Such areas include counters and office space located near the passenger terminal baggage claim, the ready and return parking lot adjacent to the terminal, the designated overflow parking in the public parking lot adjacent the terminal, as well as ingress and egress to these areas assigned.   The above-described property is to be leased for a term of five (5) years, commencing February 1, 2026 and ending on January 31, 2031, with one five (5) year renewal. The rental rate shall be as follows: (1) Counters/Offices – Concessionaire Terminal Monthly Rental Rate per square footage (currently $25.71) adjusted annually; (2) Ready/Return Parking Lot- $25 per stall per month, increased annually by 3%; (3) Overflow Public Parking Lot- $45 per stall per month, increased annually by the greater of 3% or the percentage increase in the public parking daily rate applicable for overflow parking; (4) Car Wash Facilities-Amount to be determined; (5) Concession Fee – Based upon the Gross Revenues of the previous month as provided in the Concession Agreement with a minimum annual guarantee no less than $170,582 for Avis Budget Car Rental and $80,018 for Enterprise.
