Planning Board Case No. 2026-01
In accordance with the provisions of MGL Chapter 40A, Section 11, the Quincy Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at or after 6:00 PM, in the 1st Floor Boards and Commissions Room, Old Town Hall, 1305 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA, on the application of SHM Marina Bay LLC, c/o Guard Law LLC, 1165 Washington St, Hanover, MA 02339, for a Special Permit under Sections 3.1.3 (Major Nonresidential Use). The Applicant proposes the redevelopment of the site “Skippers Lot” to reconfigure the existing parking area adjacent to Dorchester Bay. The proposed improvement will increase the number of parking spaces from 282 spaces to 321 spaces, including the construction of a new driveway, stormwater management system and other associated improvements. The proposed “Surplus Lot” consists of the redevelopment of the site to construct a new ship building/repair structure and reconfiguring the existing parking lot area which will result in a decrease of the impervious area within the project locus, including as new driveway, stormwater management system and site improvements. The properties contain 3,712,716+/- square feet of land and are located at 333 Victory Road. The subject properties are located within a Business C Zoning District and shown on Assessors Map 6076C, Lots 88, Plots 85.
