NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETINGS THE BOROUGH OF WAYNESBORO FOR THE YEAR 2026 In accordance with provisions of Pennsylvania's Sunshine Act (65 Pa. C.S. §§701-716), notice is hereby given that the regular public meetings of the following agencies of the Borough of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania for the 2026 year are to be held as follows: Borough Council The reorganization meeting of Waynesboro Borough Council will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., in the second floor Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Council will also hold a meeting on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. Thereafter, regular meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of each month, at 6:30 p.m., in the second floor Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Borough Authority Regular meetings of the Waynesboro Borough Authority will be held on the second Tuesday of each month, at 6:00 p.m., in the second floor conference room of Borough Hall. Their reorganization will take place during the regular meeting on January 13, 2026. Planning Commission Regular meetings of the Waynesboro Planning Commission will be held on the second Monday of each month, at 6:30 p.m., in the second floor Council Chambers of Borough Hall, with the exception of the October meeting, which will be held on October 19, 2026. Recreation Board Regular meetings of the Waynesboro Recreation Board will be held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, at 6:30 p.m. Check the "Calendar" on the Borough's website for location. There will be no meetings in January, November and December of 2026. Zoning Hearing Board Regular meetings of the Waynesboro Zoning Hearing Board will be held on the last Thursday of each month, at 7:00 p.m., in the second floor Council Chambers of Borough Hall (as needed), with the exception of the following meetings: The November meeting (if needed) will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2026. The December meeting (if needed) will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2026. NOTICE OF COMMITTEE MEETINGS Notice is also given that regular meetings of the following Borough Council Committees for the 2026 year will be held as follows: Economic Development Committee Borough Council's Economic Development Committee will hold monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of each month, at 10:00 a.m., in the second floor conference room of Borough Hall. Street Committee Borough Council's Street Committee will hold monthly meetings on the first Thursday of each month, at 9:00 a.m., in the second floor conference room of Borough Hall, with the exception of the January meeting, which will be held on January 8, 2026. Waynesboro Borough Hall is located at 55 E. Main Street, Waynesboro, PA, and is handicapped accessible.
