PROPOSED TOLSUN FARMS I
IRRIGATION WATER DELIVERY DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Supervisors of Maricopa County, Arizona, on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., in the Supervisors’ Conference Room, 301 W. Jefferson, 10th Floor, Phoenix 85003, on formation petitions submitted to the Board proposing the Tolsun Farms I Irrigation Water Delivery District in Supervisorial District 5. At the hearing, any landowner within the proposed district may appear and object to the organization thereof or to the proposed boundaries thereof or to the inclusion of his land therein. The Board will hear and consider all comments in favor and against the organization of the district and decide whether to approve or reject the organization of the district with the boundaries proposed in the petition or with modified boundaries.
Property owners of Maricopa County, State of Arizona and owning property within the boundaries as illustrated and generally described below, have filed petitions with the County Board of Supervisors to create an irrigation water delivery district.
Lots 1 through 11, of TOLSUN FARMS, a Subdivision of the North half of the Southwest Quarter, of Section 3, Township 1 North, Range 1 East, of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian according to the Plat of Record in the Office of the County Recorder of Maricopa County, Arizona, Recorded in Book 158 of Maps, Page 1;
TOGETHER WITH
Lots 54 through 66, of TOLSUN FARMS UNIT TWO, a Subdivision of the North half of the Southwest Quarter, of Section 3, Township 1 North, Range 1 East, of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian according to the Plat of Record in the Office of the County Recorder of Maricopa County, Arizona, Recorded in Book 168 of Maps, Page 21;
TOGETHER WITH
Lots 10 through 50, of TOLSUN FARMS UNIT THREE, a Subdivision of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, of Section 3, Township 1 North, Range 1 East, of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian according to the Plat of Record in the Office of the County Recorder of Maricopa County, Arizona, Recorded in Book 179 of Maps, Page 39;
TOGETHER WITH
Lots 17 through 35, of VILLA RICA, a Subdivision of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, of Section 3, Township 1 North, Range 1 East, of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian according to the Plat of Record in the Office of the County Recorder of Maricopa County, Arizona, Recorded in Book 388 of Maps, Page 17.
The following three landowners within the proposed district are Arthur Valenzuela, Chris Palomino, and Rigo Mendez, and shall constitute the committee to file the petition with the Board of Supervisors and represent the petitioners in the organization of the district.
This land is included within the boundaries of the Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District, The Salt River Valley Water Users' Association, (collectively referred to as "SRP") and the City of Phoenix and they have consented to the formation of this district.
The signed petitions, impact statement and exhibits referenced are on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at 301 W. Jefferson, 10th Floor, Phoenix 85003, and can be viewed online at http://www.maricopa.gov/745/Special-Taxing-Districts.
