LEGAL NOTICE STATE OF NEW YORK County of Ontario ss:   TAKE NOTICE, that I, Devon R Hayes, the undersigned, Receiver of Taxes and Assessments of the Town of Manchester, County of Ontario, and the State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Manchester for the year 2026. For the purpose of receiving taxes on said roll, the following place, dates and time have been set for the months of January, February and March:   Manchester Town Hall, 1272 County Road 7, Clifton Springs, New York 14432 Monday through Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During the month of January only, tax bills can be paid at the Canandaigua Nation Bank during normal banking hours. Only full payments will be accepted when paying at the bank.   TAKE FURTHER NOTICE: that taxes shall be received without interest on or before January 31st. All taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of one percent for the month of February and two percent for the month of March. There is an optional two-installment plan available with the first installment (half of the total bill) due by January 31st, 2026. The second installment of remaining half, plus additional fees will be due by February 28th or March 31st, 2026. The installment plan can only be used if the first installment is made in January. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE: that pursuant to the provision of law, effective April 1st, 2026, the tax roll of the Town of Manchester and all unpaid taxes will be turned over to the County Treasurer for collection.
