NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT   TAKE NOTICE that I, Justina Hockenberry, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Burns, County of Allegany and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Burns for the year 2026 and that I will be available to receive such taxes at 87 Main St. Town Hall, Canaseraga, NY on Tuesday’s 6pm-8pm, 1st,3rd and last (of the month)Saturday 10-2 and appointment by calling 607-545-6509. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before Jan. 31, 2026 without interest or penalty. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest. February 1%, March 2%. Also a mandatory fee of $1.00 for second notice mailings which will be mailed the beginning of March. This under Real Property Tax Law, 923. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law, the tax roll of the Town of Burns will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Allegany on the 2nd day of April 2026.
