NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS The Board of Supervisors will hold public hearings on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. concerning the following requests:   PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY 2045 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: To amend and replace the current adopted comprehensive plan with a new plan that has a planning horizon of 2045. The community-guided vision of the plan is: “Prince George County preserves our rural character by protecting and enhancing unique community assets, leveraging economic drivers, and accommodating strategic growth.”   REZONING # RZ-25-0007: Request to conditionally rezone 46.73 acres from R-A (Residential Agricultural) to R-3 (General Residential). The intent behind the rezoning is to develop a single-family residential subdivision with a maximum of 106 lots. The subject property is located on the east side of Takach Road and is identified as Tax Maps 230(01)00-004-A, 230(01)00-005-0, 240(01)00-006-0, 240(01)00-007-0, 240(01)00-008-0, 120(0A)00-020-B, & 120(0A)00-020-C. The Comprehensive Plan indicates the property is planned for Residential uses.   The public hearings will be held in the Board Room, third floor, County Administration Building, 6602 Courts Drive, Prince George, Virginia 23875.
