YARDLEY BOROUGH Bucks County, Pennsylvania NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of Yardley Borough, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at Borough Hall, located at 56 South Main Street, Yardley, Pennsylvania 19067. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comment and public testimony regarding the following proposed Ordinance: AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF YARDLEY, BUCKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING THE REAL ESTATE TAX RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026 AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 498 OF 2025 TO THE EXTENT IT IS IN CONFLICT WITH THE AMENDMENTS. In summary, the proposed Ordinance amends and updates the real estate tax rate for Fiscal Year 2026 and provides the total rate of taxation. It also specifically repeals any provision of Ordinance No. 498 of 2025 that may be in conflict with the terms of this proposed Ordinance. The proposed Ordinance also contains partial repealer language. During the public meeting after the hearing, Borough Council may consider enactment of the proposed ordinance. A copy of the proposed Ordinance may be reviewed at Borough Hall, located at 56 South Main Street, Yardley, Pennsylvania 19067 during normal business hours; a copy may be obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof.
