INVITATION TO BID Road Construction Services - 2026   The Town of Dennis is accepting bids for Road Construction Services for the construction of roads at various locations as needed on an on-call basis. Work shall include; furnishing all labor, equipment and material necessary for constructing roads. The contract is for one (1) year with an option for the Town to renew the contract up to an additional (1) year.   Plans and specifications will be available on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, on the Town of Dennis Procurement Webpage.   MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Highway - Construction, for the project with an estimated value of $1,662,890.00 will be required. Bidders must be on MassDOT’s list of prequalified bidders. Bids received from Bidders not prequalified by MassDOT will be declared invalid.   All bids will be received at the Engineering Office, 120 Theophilus F. Smith Road, South Dennis, MA 02660 until Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. Such bids must be received in a sealed envelope, clearly marked Bid- “Road Construction Services-2026”on the outside of the envelope.   Bids received after the time and date established herein for the opening of bids, shall not be accepted or considered, regardless of the cause for the delay in the receipt of such bids.   All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M. Minimum Wage Rates as established by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries shall be in effect for this project.   The Town of Dennis reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bidding, and to make the award as may be determined to be in the best interest of the Town.
