NOTICE OF TAX LIEN SALE
VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK, NEW YORK
NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to the provisions of Section 1455 of the Real Property Tax Law, and pursuant to a resolution adopted by the Board of Trustees on January 26, 2026, the owner or owners of the lands and tenements set forth in the pamphlets hereinafter referred to, are required to pay the amount of the taxes and assessments with the penalties thereon and arrears levied on the annual tax roll for the fiscal year beginning June 1, 2025 and ending May 31, 2026, remaining unpaid as shown on the return of the Treasurer delivered to the Board of Trustees with the interest accrued hereon together with the charges of this notice and advertisement, to the Treasurer of the Village of Mamaroneck before the time of sale as herein provided, and if default be made in such payment, the tax lien on such real estate will be sold at public auction on the 11th day of March, 2026, at 11 o’clock a.m. in the Regatta at 123 Mamaroneck Avenue the Village of Mamaroneck, Westchester County, New York, for the lowest rate of interest, not exceeding twelve per centum per annum, at which any person or person shall offer to take the same in consideration of advancing the said taxes, assessments, and penalties, arrears and interest together with the charges of the notices and advertisements and all other charges accrued thereon.
The purchaser of such tax lien at the time of sale will be required to deposit twenty five per centum of the amount of the tax lien purchased by him, for which the Treasurer of the Village of Mamaroneck will give his/her receipt, and not later than ten days from the date of the sale the balance shall be paid to said Treasurer at his/her office, at which time a transfer of tax lien will be made and delivered to the purchaser which will entitle the holder thereof to all privileges and benefits of Section 1455 of the Real Property Tax law, and which transfer will also be subject to all the provisions, requirements and conditions of the said acts, and shall by its terms be due and payable three (3) years from the date of sale.
Pamphlets containing a detailed statement of the taxes, assessments, and penalties thereon and other arrears due, together with the description of the premises affected, as shown on the assessment roll, are filed at the office of the Treasurer of the Village of Mamaroneck, and copies thereof may be obtained upon application.
