ADVERTISEMENT TO BID ERIE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT PAINTING & BLINDS BID #11 OF 2026  Sealed proposals will be received by the Erie County Controller, Room #107, Erie County Courthouse, Erie, PA 16501, until 10:30 am prevailing time on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Bids will be immediately opened and read aloud for the following prime contract: Bid #11 of 2026: General Construction Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's or trust company treasurer's check, or approved Surety Company’s bid bond, made payable to the County of Erie in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the base bid as a security. An electronic link for Plans and Specifications may be obtained by prospective bidders by mailing a non-refundable check in the amount of $50.00 for each project to the office of the Architect, Roth Marz Partnership, 3505 Chapin Street, Erie, PA 16508. Prospective bidders must include company name, contact person and email address for the electronic link to be released. Questions during the bid period shall be directed to the office of the architect. All contracts exceeding $10,000 shall contain a provision requiring compliance with Executive order 11246, entitled, “Equal Employment Opportunity,” as amended by Executive order 11375 and as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations (41 CFR Part 60). A mandatory pre-bid will be held at 10:30 am prevailing time on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the site located at 606 West 2nd Street, Erie, PA 16507. This is a State Assisted Project and is subject to State Prevailing Wages and related Acts. Project Labor Agreement compliance also shall apply. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set forth in the opening of bids.
