Charles F. & Kathleen Trainor have applied to the Planning Board seeking (1) Definitive Site Plan Review (Article V) and (2) an Special Permit to modify the dimensional requirements for an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) (Article IV, Section 8.G.7) under the requirements of the City of Worcester Zoning Ordinance. Presently on the premises are two privileged non-conforming single-family detached dwellings on one lot. The property is located within an RS-7 (Residence, Single-Family) zoning district. The applicant seeks approval to raze the existing primary structure known as 465 Lake Avenue and construct a new, conforming single-family detached dwelling and conduct associated site improvements on lot a with slopes steeper than 15%. The applicant additionally seeks a Special Permit to convert the remaining structure known as 467 Lake Avenue to an ADU and modify the dimensional requirements for an ADU (PB-2026-016).
A public hearing on the application will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 5:30PM in the Levi Lincoln Chamber, 3rd floor of the City Hall, 455 Main Street, Worcester, MA.
