PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
AMENDMENT TO TOWN OF UNION
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM FFY 2025 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
The Town of Union is proposing amendments to the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2025 Annual Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The first proposed amendment will provide CDBG funds for planned Southern Tier Community Center (STCC) Capital Improvement projects set to begin in April 2026. The second amendment will use Unprogrammed CDBG funds to create a Temporary Emergency Utility Assistance program for eligible Town of Union, Village of Endicott & Johnson City residents.
The funding for these new activities will be transferred from the following activities in amounts not to exceed:

All public comments will be considered before this change to the Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plans and budgets are implemented, subject to Town Board approval. This notice alone does not imply final approval of CDBG funding. The Town Board is expected to consider these amendments at a regular meeting on Wednesday, April 1st at 7:00 PM.
