Hinds County Board of Supervisors Department of Public Works 900 E Main Street, Raymond, MS 39154   Invitation for Bids 6-Month Term Bids for Striping of Various Roads and Streets in Hinds County   Notice to Contractors:   Sealed bids will be received by the Chancery Clerk’s Office of Hinds County, MS at 316 S President St until 10:00 a.m. on the 25th day of March 2026, and shortly thereafter publicly opened for 6-month term bids for striping of various roads/streets in Hinds County, including municipalities. Term bids will be for paid/glass beads and thermoplastic striping in various forms of striping to include skip lines, solid lines, no passing zones, arrows and other forms of detail striping in yellow or white and to include raised pavement markers. The 6-month term will be from April 1, 2026 to October 1, 2026, for all forms of striping and based on 15-mile minimum order and 25-mile minimum order. Proposals for these 6-month term bids may be picked up at the Hinds County Department of Public Works located at 900 E Main Street, Raymond, Mississippi 39154.   BASIS OF AWARD: The award, if made, will be to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder on the basis of published quantities.   The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.   Bids must be hand delivered, or otherwise physically delivered by public or private couriers or delivery service, including but not limited to U.S. Postal Service, Certified Mail with return receipt requested, United Parcel Service, Federal Express, or by any other delivery method wherein receipt of said bids must be acknowledged, in writing, by the addressee to the Hinds County Chancery Clerk, Eddie Jean Carr, attention, Emily Bradley, Second Floor, Chancery Court Building, 316 South President Street, Jackson, Mississippi 39201 or P.O.
