PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Yarmouth Planning Board, Special Permit Granting Authority for two-family dwelling units within a B2 zoning district under Zoning Bylaw Section 202.5.A2, will hold a Public Hearing on March 18, 2026 at 5:30 P.M. in the Hearing Room of the Yarmouth Town Offices, 1146 Route 28, South Yarmouth, MA 02664, and via remote access at https://us02web.zoom.us/J/89836415124 or via telephone at (301) 715 8592 and entering webinar ID 898 3641 5124, to consider the following Petition:
1. Petition #119: Owner/Applicant: Huzafia Corporation; Property Location: 49 & 55 Route 28 and 10 Drew’s Way, West Yarmouth MA; Assessor Map 36, Parcels 77, 78 & 79; Zoning District B2 and APD. As part of a proposed building addition to the Becker’s Package Store to add approximately 4,139 square feet (sf) to the first floor (total area of 5,074 sf), a 2,683 sf second floor for two (2) two-bedroom residential units, and associated site improvements, the Applicant is seeking a Special Permit per Zoning Bylaw Section 202.5 – Use Regulation Table, Use Code A2 to allow a two-family dwelling. Any other relief required would be through the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Copies of the plans and application materials are on file with the Planning Board and may be inspected Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the Planning Division office at the Yarmouth Town Offices, and online at www.yarmouth.ma.us/LF under the address 55 Route 28 in the Planning directory.
