FEBRUARY GENERAL SESSION KEWAUNEE COUNTY ADMINISTRATION CENTER FEBRUARY 17, 2026 The meeting of the Kewaunee County Board of Supervisors was called to order by the Kewaunee County Chairman Olson, on February 17, 2026 at 6:00 PM, Pledge of Allegiance, followed by prayer.Roll Call: Supervisors Agamaite, Augustian, Baker, Browne, Guilette, Jahnke, Kinnard (arrived at 6:06 p.m.), Kroll, Lazansky, Lukes, Olson, Paape, Patrycia, Romdenne, Shelton, Swagel, Teske, Vollenweider and Zeitler (19) were present. Supervisor Ortlieb (1) was excused. Approval of agenda and previous minutes, Citizens Input, Appointments, Reports, Board entered into closed session at 6:08 p.m. and re-convene into open session at 6:34 p.m. RESOLUTION NO. 32-02-2026 - PURCHASE HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT-HOT MIX PLANT BURNER Supervisors Paape moved and Vollenweider seconded for adoption. Roll Call Vote: 19 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. RESOLUTION 33-02-2026 - EVIDENCE BUILDING HEATING SYSTEM REPLACEMENT Supervisor Baker proposed an amendment to add $5,000 from the Sheriff's Dept. 2025 surplus funds to cover the extra cost for installation and Shelton seconded the amendment. Roll Call Vote: 19 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. Supervisors Baker moved and Agamaite seconded for adoption as amended. Roll Call Vote: 19 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. RESOLUTION NO. 34-02-2026 - ADOPTING THE CAPITAL OUTLAY – VEHICLE & EQUIPMENT PURCHASING POLICY Supervisors Romdenne moved and Baker seconded for adoption. Roll Call Vote: 19 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. RESOLUTION NO. 35-02-2026 - ACCEPTING THE AWARD OF A WI EMERGENCY MGMT HAZARDOUS MATERIALS EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS GRANT, Supervisors Jahnke moved and Shelton seconded for adoption. Roll Call Vote: 19 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. RESOLUTION NO. 36-02-2026 - ADOPTING KEWAUNEE CO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PROCEDURES, Supervisors Augustian moved and Lazansky seconded for adoption. Roll Call Vote: 19 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. The May County Board Meeting will be held on May 19, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kewaunee County Administration Center. Supervisors Vollenweider moved and Patrycia seconded to adjourn.
