WAYNE HIGHLANDS SCHOOL DISTRICT INVITATION TO BID In accordance with the provisions of the Pennsylvania School Code, the Board of Directors of the Wayne Highlands School District, Honesdale, Wayne County, Pennsylvania will receive bids for PAVING PROJECT - BLACKTOPPING AND RESURFACING HONESDALE HIGH SCHOOL. Bids will be received until 2:30 P.M. prevailing time on the 10th day of April, 2026, at the Wayne Highlands School District Office at 474 Grove Street, Honesdale, Pennsylvania at which time all bids will be opened and read aloud. Contract documents and specifications are available at the Office of the Wayne Highlands School District, 474 Grove Street, Honesdale, Pennsylvania 18431. There will be a mandatory pre bid meeting March 26, 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Honesdale High School, 459 Terrace Street, Honesdale, PA 18431, front circle. A site visit and square footage verification can be conducted at this time. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Wayne Highlands School District or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to select individual items and to waive any formalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidder, prior to the award of the contract.
