The City of Broussard has declared the following (2) movable properties as surplus.

and
404 E. Monroe Street
Broussard, LA
Description of movable properties are as follows:
1) 410 E. Monroe Street
House to be relocated by the buyer. 700 sq. ft. living area. 3 bedrooms, 1 bath. There is no sale of land involved with this transaction. The city has acquired the property to build a new city facility. The house was continuously occupied up to the point of acquisition and is now vacant. To view or inspect the house or to review house value estimates, please contact the DIRECTOR OF ADMIN SERVICES, City of Broussard - temert@broussardla.com. The reserve on the house is $25000, 1/3 of its appraised value on-site. The buyer is responsible for hiring a house mover to relocate the building at the buyer's expense and risk. Typical house relocation costs range from $12,000 to $15,000 (estimate only). Please inspect and research relocation costs before placing an offer. All sales will be final upon payment of the purchase price. The seller reserves the right to end this sale at any time it deems the fair market value has been reached. The city will waive all regular requirements for the removal of surplus property after purchase to accommodate the relocation of the house to the buyer's property.

Located at 404 E. Monroe St. in Broussard, LA 70518 - to be relocated only. No sale of land is involved. 2 Bedrooms & 1 Bath. Attached carport. 900 sq. ft. living. The city has acquired the property to build a new city facility. The house was continuously occupied up to the point of acquisition and is now vacant. The reserve on the house is $25000, half of its appraised value on-site. The buyer is responsible for hiring a house mover to relocate the building at the buyer's expense and risk. Inspection
Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable nor depicted in photographs. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the property prior to bidding, especially vehicles or heavy equipment. Inspection is by appointment only. Please use the 'Ask a Question' feature to schedule an appointment for Inspection. It is important for the bidder or the bidder's authorized removal agent to carefully examine the item purchased to determine if there are unexpected issues prior to removing same. Once an item is removed from the location no refund of any kind will be considered. Transportation costs of the bidder will never be paid or reimbursed under any circumstances.
Payment

1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.
2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.
