ADVERTISEMENT FOR QUOTES   The Town of LaGrange invites quotes for the “MWD Water Tank Site Clearing” located at 11 Red Oaks Mill Road in the Town of LaGrange, Dutchess County, New York.   Separate sealed quotes will be received by the Town of Lagrange Town Clerk Office at the Town Hall located at 120 Stringham Road, LaGrangeville, NY 12540 until 2:00 pm (local time) March 16, 2026 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Quotes received after that time will not be accepted.   The Work of the project will be let for the following Contracts:   Contract 1       MWD Tank Site Clearing   The Work of the project shall be completed by March 31, 2026.   Project documents will be available starting, March 5, 2026. Prospective contractors may request documents be emailed and clarifications of the project documents by contacting CPL, Greg W. Bolner (gbolner@cplteam.com). All requests for project documents or clarifications shall be submitted in writing.   A Pre-Quote meeting/walk-through for the Project will be held at 10am on March 11, 2026 near the site (Carrington Ct at Titusville Road). Attendance by prospective contractors is recommended, but not required.   Attention of the Bidder is particularly called to the Owner's sales tax exemption, the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed, and the prevailing wage rates to be paid under the Contract. In addition, the Project Documents contain detailed requirements for the qualification of Bidders. These include, among other things, insurance requirements, financial statements, bank references, lists of lawsuits, arbitrations or other proceedings in which the prospective contractor has been named as a party, and a description of other projects of similar size and scope completed by the prospective contractor.   Quotes shall be prepared as set forth in “INSTRUCTIONS AND CONDITIONS TO BIDDERS”, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on its face the name and address of the Bidder and the title of the Work to which the quote enclosed relates.   No Bidder may withdraw his bid within fifteen (15) days after the actual bid opening.   The Owner reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in, or to reject, any or all bids.   The Owner further reserves the right to disqualify Bidders for any material failure to comply with the “INSTRUCTIONS AND CONDITIONS TO BIDDERS”.   BY ORDER OF THE TOWN BOARD: AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY/AFFIRMATIVE ACTION EMPLOYER   END OF SECTION 00020 3/10/2026                                                                   12149875
