PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on March 25, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. the Planning Board of the Township of East Brunswick will hold a hearing wherein the East Brunswick Board of Education will make a presentation to receive the Planning Board's review and recommendations, pursuant to N.J.S.A 40:55D-31(a), as it relates to the Board of Education's proposed project to improve and expand the parking lot at Frost Elementary School. The presentation will be held at the East Brunswick Municipal Building, 1 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive, East Brunswick, NJ 08816. The premises which are the subject of this application are located on 65 Frost Ave, East Brunswick, NJ 08816. Said premises are also known as Block 242.01, Lots 14.05 & 14.07, East Brunswick, New Jersey.
The Board of Education seeks the Planning Board's review and recommendations, in accordance with N.J.S.A 40:55D-31(a), as it relates to the Board of Education's proposed project to improve and expand the parking lot at Frost Elementary School. Specifically, the scope of this proposed project includes, but is not limited, to the installation of a new parking lot and associated expansion from the current footprint and the installation of a bus loop associated groundwork, installation and/or removal of underground utilities, stormwater drainage, retaining wall, and associated site lighting, fencing, irrigation and landscaping features.
The applicant also intends to request at the hearing such bulk variance and/or waivers of design standards and/or submission requirements as may required to develop the premises in the manner indicated in the application materials, and any other variances or waivers that the Board may require, as applicable.
The application for development and all supporting maps, site plans and documents are on file in the office of the Department of Planning and Zoning and are available for public inspection The public may review files and plans for all applications at the Department of Planning and Engineering located at 4 Harts Lane on the first floor between the hours of 7:30 am and 3:30 pm on weekdays. Any interested party may appear at the aforesaid hearing, either in person, or by their attorney and be given an opportunity to be heard with respect to the aforesaid application.
