NOTICE OF SOLICITATION OF CANDIDATES Elections for Town Council will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 414 Main Street, Clayton, DE 19938. Two (2) seats are available for a term of two years. The deadline to file is Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. You can pick up a Candidacy Form at the Town Office or print one from the website. Qualifications to file for Council are: Any person at least 21 years of age, who, for a period of at least 15 years immediately preceding his/her election has not been convicted of a felony as that crime is designated by the State of Delaware, and who is a bona fide domiciliary of the Town shall be eligible to hold the office of Council member. Absentee ballots may be picked up at the Town Office no later than 12:00 noon of the day prior to the election.
