WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS
TOWN OF PELAHATCHIE, MISSISSIPPI
NOTICE is hereby given that the Town of Pelahatchie, Mississippi will receive written and electronic sealed bids for the construction of that certain project designated as “WWTF Effluent Pump Station and Force Main” until the hour of 2:00 PM, local time, on 16TH day, April 2026, in the Town of Pelahatchie City Hall, 702 2nd Street, Pelahatchie, Mississippi 39145; or electronically at www.waggonerengplans.com Registration and a valid email address are required for electronic id submission. Bids are to be stated for the construction of a pump station and force main and all other related items of work required to complete the project as shown and specified in the Contract Documents.
The Total Contract Time will be 180 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $700 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. All project related questions should be directed to Jamie McInnis at jamie.mcinnis@waggonereng.com with the subject line reading – “WWTF Effluent Pump Station and Force Main” no later than 2:00 p.m. on 9TH day, April 2026. A bid bond or a certified cashier’s check in the amount of 5% of the total bid price is required.
Bid documents are being made available via paper copy or digital copy through www.waggonerengplans.com. Plans can be viewed for no charge or physically purchased at this website location. All plan holders are required to have a valid e-mail address to register for an account and log in at www.waggonerengplans.com.Purchased bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website.
The Town of Pelahatchie reserves the right to amend the specifications and contract documents as necessary prior to bid and agrees to notify all having requested bid packets. The Town of Pelahatchie reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities.
The Town of Pelahatchie, Mississippi hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, religion or national origin in consideration for an award.
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities.

Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material, and/or supply needs.
Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund (WPCRLF) loan program from the State of Mississippi. Neither the State of Mississippi, the Commission on Environmental Quality nor any of their employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting or related contracts. This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated. This project is subject to federal domestic preference requirements, including the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements and the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA).
