BID ADVERTISEMENT Monroe County, Pennsylvania, will receive sealed Bids for a project entitled "MONROE COUNTY PARKING GARAGE MAINTENANCE", until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2026, in the Monroe County Controllers' Office, One Quaker Plaza, Room 206, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 (Phone 570-517-3102). The Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Public Meeting Room, Monroe County Administrative Center, One Quaker Plaza, Room 203, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Commissioners' Office on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The pre-bid meeting will include a visit to the parking garage. Attending the pre-bid meeting is mandatory for bid acceptance. Sealed bids for this project will be received for one prime contract. Each bid shall be made upon the form provided in the specifications prepared by the Engineer and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposed contract amount. Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after they are opened and announced except as may be otherwise provided by law. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply to this project. The County reserves the right, at its option, to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities, defects, errors or omissions, irregularities in any or all bids if it is in the best interest of the County to do so and to award only to those whose proposal is deemed by the County to be most advantageous to the interest of the County.
