The City of Evansville Code Enforcement and the Board of Public Safety has issued a Request for Proposal from qualified vendors on the following:
RFP-008-01-2026
Trash and Debris Removal
The RFP documents will be available beginning on Monday, March 17, 2026. The Purchasing Department will receive sealed proposals for until Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 12:45 AM CST in room 323 of the Civic Center Complex, 1 NW Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Evansville, Indiana, 47708 (“Civic Center Complex”). Proposal submitted after this time must be submitted to the Board prior to the commencement of the meeting on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 1:00 PM CST the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Board of Public Safety meeting in Room 301 of the Civic Center Complex.
Each proposal must be in full compliance with the specifications and executed by the bidder on the forms provided in the bid, wherein the Non-Collusion Affidavit must be completed in accordance with the Indiana State Board of Accounts.
All proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the City of Evansville in an amount of five percent (5%) the total bid amount as evidence of good faith of the bidder and such deposit shall be subject to forfeiture in the event the bidder fails to execute the contract in accordance with their proposal.
Consideration of applicable taxes shall be observed as covered in the specifications and Proposal Forms. In no instance, however, will Federal Taxes or Indiana Sales Tax be applicable.
The City has the right to reject any or all proposals if considered to be in the best interest of the City.
