Arnold Park Improvements LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION TO BID   Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M, the Town of Abington invites sealed bids for Arnold Park Improvements. Bids will be received at the Department of Public Works, 350 Summer Street, Abington, MA 02351 until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and posted online. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted.   The project generally includes demolition of the existing basketball court and playground area; construction of new street hockey/basketball courts and a multi-purpose court; installation of asphalt surfaces, sport coatings, fencing, benches, gates, and a storage shed; and related site work. An add alternate includes electrical preparation and installation of light poles, LED lighting, scoreboards, and electrical service.   Contract documents will be available beginning March 18, 2026 after 10:00 AM in electronic format by contacting Rob Kenneally, Sanborn Head & Associates at rkenneally@sanbornhead.com to register as a bidder. Only registered bidders will receive addenda.   Each bid must be accompanied by a bid deposit of 5% of the total bid price. The successful bidder must furnish 100% Payment and Performance Bonds.   Prevailing wage rates under M.G.L.
