NOTICE OF MEETING
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING BOARD
NOTICE is hereby given that the Newtown Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public meeting on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Drive, Newtown, PA 18940, to conduct a hearing on the following application and other such business properly before the Zoning Hearing Board:
1. Appeal 1249-26: Jodi Smith, Applicant and Owner, requests the following zoning relief to permit removal of an existing dwelling and replacement with a new single-family detached dwelling. The Applicant seeks variances from and a special exception pursuant to the Newtown Township Joint Municipal Zoning Ordinance of 2007, as amended, specifically variances from Section 405(B) to permit maintenance of an existing 18% impervious surface ratio where a maximum of 13% is permitted, Section 405(C) to permit maintenance of an existing 30.2 foot front yard setback where a minimum of 50 feet is required, and a special exception pursuant to Section 1208(C)(2) to permit the erection of a replacement structure while maintaining the existing nonconformities with respect to gross site area, net lot area, and lot width. The Subject Property is located at 90 Linden Avenue, Newtown Township, Newtown, PA, Tax Map Parcel #29-11-67. The Subject Property is located in the R-2 High Density Residential District.
