NOTICE OF MEETING NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING BOARD   NOTICE is hereby given that the Newtown Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public meeting on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Drive, Newtown, PA 18940, to conduct a hearing on the following application and other such business properly before the Zoning Hearing Board:   1. Appeal 1249-26: Jodi Smith, Applicant and Owner, requests the following zoning relief to permit removal of an existing dwelling and replacement with a new single-family detached dwelling. The Applicant seeks variances from and a special exception pursuant to the Newtown Township Joint Municipal Zoning Ordinance of 2007, as amended, specifically variances from Section 405(B) to permit maintenance of an existing 18% impervious surface ratio where a maximum of 13% is permitted, Section 405(C) to permit maintenance of an existing 30.2 foot front yard setback where a minimum of 50 feet is required, and a special exception pursuant to Section 1208(C)(2) to permit the erection of a replacement structure while maintaining the existing nonconformities with respect to gross site area, net lot area, and lot width.
