LEGAL NOTICE   Notice To Bidders   Notice is hereby given that Lower Moreland Township will accept sealed bids for the following:   1. Furnish and apply approximately 3,000 tons of 1 ½” compacted depth Asphalt Mixture Design, 9.5 mm, PG 64S-22, wearing course (0.0 to 0.3 million ESALs, SRL “H”), in accordance with Township specifications.   2. Milling, full widths or ½ widths, of streets. Depth to be 2” plus or minus 1” as directed by Township Personnel, estimated 32,000 square yards, in accordance with Township specifications.   3. Lower Moreland will have one (1) Alternate totaling 350 tons and 3,650 Sq. Yds.   4. Bryn Athyn Borough will have one (1) Alternate totaling 220 tons and 2,350 Sq. Yds.   The Township reserves the right to make changes to the streets/locations.   Sealed Proposals will be received by Lower Moreland Township, 640 Red Lion Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, until 11:30 am, April 10, 2026.   Specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the Office of the Township Manger, 640 Red Lion Road, Huntingdon Valley PA 19006.   All proposals (bids) are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The Township reserves the right to waive any minor informalities, irregularities, or defects in the bid: or reject all the bids. The successful Bidder must comply with Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.   Bids may be held by the Township for a period of 45 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. Lower Moreland Township does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, handicap or sex. Lower Moreland Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, also the right to increase/decrease the number of streets or locations to be improved to meet budget appropriations.   Successful bidder must submit Performance Bond, Maintenance Bond, Payment Bond and Insurance Certificate for Workmen’s Compensation and Liability Insurance.
