Notice of Ulster BOCES Annual Meeting 2026-2027 Please take notice that the BOARD OF COOPERATIVE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES OF THE SOLE SUPERVISORY DISTRICT OF ULSTER COUNTY (BOCES) will hold the annual meeting of the trustees and members of the Boards of Education of its component school districts on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Ulster BOCES Career Academies at iPark 87, located at 300 Enterprise Drive, Kingston, New York. The Board of Cooperative Educational Services will present its proposed administrative, capital, and program budgets for 2026-2027 to the members of the Boards of Education of component districts in attendance at such Annual Meeting for their review. The following are summaries of the tentative administrative and capital budgets. The amounts stated are based on current estimates and may be subject to change. Copies of the complete proposed administrative, capital, and program budgets will be available for inspection by the public between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the Administration Building, 175 Route 32 North, New Paltz, New York, commencing on March 26, 2026. Summary of Proposed Administrative Budget Total Personnel Services (Salaries of all Central Administrative and Support Staff Services) $1,457,198.00; Total Employee Benefits (Benefits of all Central Administrative, Support Staff, and Retirees) $5,882,032.00; Equipment $8,600.00; Supplies and Materials $47,345.00; Revenue Note Interest $0.00; Total Contractual Expense $508,870.00, Net Transfers (other than Capital) $(475,218.00). Total Administrative Budget: $7,428,827.00 Included in the Administrative Budget is the compensation of the Executive Officer: BOCES budgeted salary $164,751.00; Annualized BOCES benefits which include health, dental, vision, teacher retirement, health savings account and life insurance $108,029.00. Additional compensation paid by the State Education Department to the District Superintendent for the performance of state-related duties assigned by the Commissioner of Education and the State Education Department $43,499.00. Total BOCES Executive Officer compensation including salary and fringe benefits $316,279.00.
