At a meeting of Zanesville City Council on Monday, March 23, 2026 the following legislation was passed by Council and signed by the Mayor. Ordinance No. 2026-13- Introduced by Council-An Ordinance amending Chapter 191 of the Codified Ordinances relating to the Board of Control. Ordinance No. 2026-16- Introduced by Council-An Ordinance to amend the Codified Ordinances of the City of Zanesville by adding a new definition to Chapter 1137 regarding duplexes in residential districts. Ordinance No. 2026-17- Introduced by Council-An Ordinance to amend the Codified Ordinances of the City of Zanesville by adding a new section to Chapter 1149 regarding sidewalks. Ordinance No. 2026-29 Amended- Introduced by Council-An Ordinance authorizing the implementation of Building Division and Code Enforcement Division fees and amendments to Chapters 905, 1312, 1321, and 1355 of the Codified Ordinances. Ordinance No. 2026-30- Introduced by Council-An Ordinance amending the fee schedule for the Planning and Zoning Division of the Zanesville Community Development Department. Ordinance No. 2026-31- Introduced by Council-An Ordinance authorizing participation in the ODOT winter contract for road salt, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2026-32- Introduced by Council-An Ordinance providing appropriations for use during the Fiscal Year 2026, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2026-33 -Introduced by Council-An Ordinance authorizing the Public Service Director to apply for, accept, and enter into a Water Supply Revolving Loan Account (WSRLA) Agreement on behalf of the City of Zanesville for the construction of the Blandy Waterline Replacement – Phase I Project; and designating a dedicated repayment source for the loan.
