LEGAL NOTICE   THE CITY OF DOVER DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICE REQUEST FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES The City of Dover, Ohio intends to contract for engineering and design services for the Angel Drive Pump Station and Force Main Project. Firms interested in being considered for such contracts should reply with a statement of qualifications no later than 2:00 P.M. on May 20, 2026. Statements received after this deadline will not be considered. Statements of Qualifications should include the following information; Technical Approach for this project; Consultant Experience in Similar Projects; History of Firm- Education and Experience; Technical Expertise of Staff; Adequate Equipment and Facilities; Capacity to perform work and meet Schedules and Budgets; References; Previous work performed for the City of Dover and evidence of financial responsibility. Firms must note any Qualifications needed to perform design services for State or Federal Grant Projects. Three copies of the Statements of Qualifications (no more than 12 pages front only, not including covers) should be submitted to David F. Douglas, Service Director, 116 E. Third Street Rear, Dover, Ohio 44622. As required by the Ohio Revised Code §153.65-73, responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation, the City of Dover, Ohio will enter into contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firm. The project description is as follows: Name of Project: Angel Drive Pump Station and Force Main Project Location: Dover, Ohio Description: The replacement of the existing Angel Dr. wastewater pump station with a new larger pump station, the installation of approximately 7, 400 L.F. of 10” new force main for the new Angel Pump Station, and the restoration of a portion of the 12” diameter vitrified clay pipe gravity sanitary sewer which conveys wastewater to the Angel Pump Station. Source of Funding: US Dept of Commerce Economic Development Administration, Ohio Public Works Commission, US EPA, and City of Dover Estimated Construction Cost: $3,326,000 Project Schedule: Anticipated dates for design & contract startup approximately June 15, 2026.
