Take notice that the Upper Southampton Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Upper Southampton Township First Floor Meeting Room, 939 Street Road, Southampton, PA, on the appeal of James & Christianna Armstrong (26-06), regarding Tax Parcel No. 48-006-054, located at 485 Springfield Drive, in the R-2, Residential Conservation Zoning District of Upper Southampton Township. Applicant seeks to construct an in-ground swimming pool on the subject residential lot. Post-construction impervious surface coverage is calculated at 34.9%. §185-22B, Table of Dimensional Requirements, of the Upper Southampton Township Zooning Ordnance (“Ordinance”) permits a maximum of 19% impervious surface coverage. Applicant asserts that current impervious surface coverage, pre-swimming pool, is 35.2%. Applicant seeks a variance from §185-22 to exceed the permissible impervious surface coverage on the subject lot. A copy of the application may be viewed by appointment in the Office of Licenses and Inspections at the Township Building.
