BROADWAY WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT
General Notice
The North Raynham Water District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Broadway Water Main Replacement Project
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the North Raynham Water District, located at 80 Baker Road, Raynham, MA 02767, until 11:00 A.M on Thursday, May 14, 2026 and at that time publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project includes the following Work:
The project consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary for the replacement of existing 6-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch CIP water main with the installation of a 12-inch water main and appurtenances including gate valves, valve boxes, hydrants, and services; and for all trench pavements. This project includes approximately 6,500 linear feet of water main and appurtenances on Broadway Street between King Philip Street and Carver Street.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
Bid Forms and Contract Documents may be obtained online at www.Projectdog.com beginning April 29, 2026. Log in and enter the Project Code 874347 in the project locator box and select “Acquire Documents” to download documents. All plan holders must have an active online account on www.Projectdog.com to acquire documents, receive project notifications, and to submit bids electronically. Addenda, if issued, will be posted to the Projectdog website (www.Projectdog.com) and shall be accompanied by e-mail notification to every individual or firm on record as having received the Contract Documents. Hard copies of addenda will not be mailed or faxed. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor to ascertain the existence of any and all addenda. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
Instructions to Bidders.
Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of certified check, cashier’s check, treasurer’s check or bid bond in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the value of the bid, including all alternates.
Attention of bidders is called particularly to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum rates to be paid under the contract as determined by the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26-27H inclusive.
A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract price, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract and provided within ten (10) calendar days of the award letter. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all bids received, and to award the contract to any of the Contractors bidding on the work if, in the Owner’s opinion, the best interests of the Owner thereby will be promoted.
The successful bidder shall be required to submit documentation that all employees to be employed in the work subject to this bid have successfully completed a course in construction safety and health approved by the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration that is at least 10 hours in duration. Any employee found on a worksite subject to this section without documentation of successful completion of a course in construction safety and health approved by the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration that is at least 10 hours in duration shall be subject to immediate removal.
