NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEORE LACEY TOWNSHIP PLANNING BOARD
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the undersigned has filed an application with the Planning Board of the Township of Lacey (the "Board") for the following form of relief related to the property located at 344-346 North Main Street Lanoka Harbor, NJ, also known as Block 409, Lot 2.01 on the tax maps of the Township:
Minor site plan approval for the changes to the Five Below tenant suite and a neighboring tenant space, including EIFS work and the removal of an interior demising wall;
Approval for a change of use for the expansion of a retail use as identified by the Lacey Township Zoning Officer;
A variance from Section 335-43(C)(2)(a) of the Lacey Township Zoning Ordinance (the "Ordinance") to permit 222 square feet of business identification wall signage; whereas the Ordinance permits one enterprise identification or advertising sign, parallel to and attached or otherwise affixed to any three facades of each separate principal building on site, which signs shall be flat against the building and not larger than 20% of the gross area of the facade of the building or 75 square feet in area, whichever is less; and
Applicant also requests any other variance, waiver or special exception relief that may be necessary as identified by the Planning Board of the Township of Lacey or its professionals, but is not specifically enumerated in its application.
A PUBLIC HEARING will be conducted by the Planning Board on the above application at its meeting on May 11, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in the Committee Chambers of the Municipal Building, 818 Lacey Road, Forked River, NJ. Any person interested in the application may be present and be heard, either in person or by agent or attorney, at the time and place aforesaid.
THE APPLICATION AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS are on file with the office of the Board Secretary (Office of Community Development) Location: 124 South Main Street in Forked River, NJ and is available for inspection during normal business hours, Monday-Friday: 8:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-4:30pm.
