NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC HEARING, as provided by law, will be held by the PLANNING COMMISSION of the CITY OF SIMI VALLEY to consider and decide the application listed below.
Said PUBLIC HEARING will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers, 2929 Tapo Canyon Rd., Simi Valley, CA, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at which time any interested person is welcome to attend and be heard on the following matter:
CASE: GPA-2024-0003/Z-S-2025-0003/SP-S-2025-0002/PD-S-2025-0003/TT-2025-0002
APPLICANT: NPLC Lost Canyons, LLC
REQUEST: to consider a recommendation to the City Council on the application of NPLC Lost Canyons, LLC, for a General Plan Amendment (GPA-2024-0003), Zone Change (Z-S-2025-0003), Specific Plan Amendment (SP-S-2025-0002), Planned Development Permit Modification (PD-S-2025-0003), and Tentative Map (TT-2025-0002) to modify the approved 364-lot, 1,770-acre Lost Canyons Development Project.
The project includes the following actions: reconfigure the site's existing Open Space, Residential Estate, Low Density Residential and Medium Density Residential General Plan land use designations and remove the Commercial Recreation land use; reconfigure the existing Specific Plan zoning designations of Open Space, Residential Estate, Residential Low Density and Residential Medium Density and remove the Commercial Recreation Zone; amend the Specific Plan to remove the golf course, relocate 178 approved lots from the south side of Lost Canyons Drive to the north side; create two estate lots located at the north end of Anderson Drive and north of Ditch Road; revisions to the design guidelines, development standards, and project layout; and an addendum to the previously approved Environmental Impact Report and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program.
