Public Notice Advertisement for Bids Sealed bids will be received at the Pleasant Twp. Office, 1035 Owens Road, Marion, Ohio 43302, until 6:00 p.m. May 19, 2026 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the project known as Pleasant Township 2026 Eagle Creek Resurfacing Project. The proposals must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents and shall contain the full name and address of the bidder. All bids shall be sealed and plainly marked “SEALED BID FOR 2026 Eagle Creek Resurfacing Project”. Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a bid bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid or a certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. In addition to the Bid Security, a one (1) year Performance Bond is required for this project in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total project cost, and may be submitted with the Bid Proposal. Copies of the plans and specifications must be obtained from the Pleasant Twp. Office, 1035 Owens Road, Marion, Ohio 43302, by calling 740-389-6029 office or 740-341-9555 cell. There shall be no cost for the plans and specifications. The Owner requires that all work associated with the project be completed before September 30, 2026 No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of (60) days after the opening thereof. Awarding of the contract shall be to the Lowest or Best bidder as determined by the Pleasant Township Trustees in the best interest of the Township.
