The Blandy Waterline Relocation Low Pressure System – Phase 1 project includes installation of approximately 800 linear feet of 20-inch waterline, along with associated valves, fire hydrants, and service reconnections. The Project is being funded with monies made available by the CLEAN WATER OR DRINKING WATER STATE REVOLVING FUND and such law contains provisions commonly known as “Use of American Iron and Steel” that requires all of the iron and steel products used in the project to be produced in the United States. Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age. This procurement is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs). All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project shall to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Muskingum County as determined by the Davis-Bacon Federal Wage Determinations.
