NOTICE OF HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 4th day of June, 2026 at 7:15 p.m., a hearing will be held before the Borough of Fair Haven Zoning Board of Adjustment at the Municipal Building, 748 River Road, Fair Haven, New Jersey 07704 on the application of Brian Desena and Julie Lafferty for variances or other relief so as to permit the construction of a front porch at the existing single-family residential dwelling on the premises known as Lot 94, Block 77 as shown on the Official Tax Map of the Borough of Fair Haven and located at 24 Gentry Drive, Fair Haven, New Jersey, in the R-10 zoning district.
The following variance has been applied for:
§30-5.1 Table "C": Minimum Front Yard Setback of 30 feet is required, where 31.5 feet is existing and 28 feet is proposed.
The following pre-existing non-conformity will be exacerbated:
§30-5.1 Table "C": Minimum Single and Combined Side Yard Setbacks of 10 feet for one side and 25.5 feet for combined side yards is required, where 9.9 feet and 20.6 feet, respectively, are existing and proposed.
In addition, the Applicants seek any and all variances, waivers and/or related relief which may be necessary to approve the application that is proposed.
The application and supporting documents are on file with the Borough of Fair Haven Zoning Board of Adjustment, at the Borough Hall Municipal Building, 748 River Road, Fair Haven, NJ 07704 and may be inspected during regular business hours. Members of the public may contact the Board Secretary at (732) 245-6111 or solson@fhboro.net to request a copy of the application documents including all exhibits and plans either as an electronic copy via email or a hard copy by regular mail, subject to any standard fees or charges. In addition, all application materials will be posted on the Borough's website at www.fairhavennj.org/zoning-board.
All interested parties may appear at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
