PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given to all interested persons, the City of Petersburg Planning Commission will hold public hearings on Thursday, June 4, 2026, in the Petersburg Public Library Multipurpose Room, located at 201 W Washington Street, Petersburg, Virginia 23803, beginning at 6:00 PM to hear the following cases:
2026-ZTA-01: Consideration of a resolution recommending approval of an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Petersburg for the purpose of clarifying the criteria for approval of Certificates of Appropriateness and the processes for updates to the Historic Districts Design Guidelines and appeals of Architectural Review Board decisions.
2026-ZTA-02: Consideration of a resolution recommending approval of an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Petersburg for the purpose of clarifying the design standards for residential off-street parking areas.
2026-SUP-03: Consideration of a resolution recommending approval of a request by Joe Tyler, Tyler Realty Group, on behalf of TAP LLC, for a special use permit for multiple-family dwellings as authorized and controlled by the R-5 Multiple Dwelling District Standards at 2719 South Crater Road, Parcel ID 065120007.
