NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM   Town of Canandaigua, Ontario County, New York   ESTABLISHMENT OF THE TOWN OF CANANDAIGUA WQIP CULVERT REPLACEMENT CAPITAL PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING INITIAL PROJECT FUNDING THROUGH TRANSFER OF $60,000 FROM HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENTS CAPITAL RESERVE FUND INTO THE TOWN’S CAPITAL PROJECTS FUNDS.   NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting held on May 18, 2026, the Canandaigua Town Board duly adopted a resolution establishing the Town of Canandaigua WQIP Culvert Replacement Capital Project & Initial Project Funding through transfer of $60,000 from the Highway Improvements Capital Reserve Fund into the Town’s Capital Projects Funds pursuant to General Municipal Law §6-c. Said resolution was adopted subject to a permissive referendum as provided in Article 7 of the New York Town Law (§§90–94) and General Municipal Law §6-c. Petitions must be filed with the Office of the Town Clerk within thirty (30) days after the date of adoption of the resolution. Any such petition must conform to the requirements of Town Law §91, including the number of signatures required. If a valid petition is filed, a referendum will be held on the question of the transfer.
