INVITATION FOR BIDS Fairview Township Sewer Authority, Erie County, Pennsylvania will receive sealed bids for the Water Street 2026 Sanitary Sewer Construction Project until 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Fairview Township Sewer Authority Office, located in the Fairview Township Sewer Authority Building, 7485 McCray Road, Fairview, PA 16415, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids are invited to supply and perform the following materials, equipment and work: Installation of approximately 1,192 lineal feet of 8 inch diameter PVC sanitary sewer line, including precast concrete manholes, sewer laterals and other appurtenant and restoration activities on portions of Avonia Road (State Route 98) and Water Street. Contract Documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be reviewed at the Fairview Township Sewer Authority Office. Copies of the contract documents may be obtained by submitting a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 to Mark J. Corey & Associates, P.O. Box 268, Harborcreek, PA 16421; (814) 897-3180 for each set of contract documents so obtained. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record as having obtained the Contract Documents. Each bid must be submitted on the bid form provided in the bidding documents and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier’s check or bid bond with corporate surety payable to Fairview Township Sewer Authority in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price. Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project. Any contractor who has pending litigation with the Fairview Township Water and Sewer Authority is not eligible to bid on this project. Bids may be held by the Authority for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications for bidders prior to awarding the contract.
