The City Council of the City of Weed will hold a public hearing on June 11, 2026, to consider adoption of the following: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEED CALIFORNIA AMENDING SECTION 14.04.230 OF CHAPTER 14.04 (WATER SYSTEM) OF TITLE 14 (PUBLIC SERVICES) REGARDING WATER SERVICE TO VACATED OR CONDEMNED BUILDINGS AND REPEALING AND REPLACING SECTIONS 16.04.010, 16.04.020, 16.04.021, 16.04.060, 16.04.070, 16.04.100, 16.04.120, 16.04.140 OF CHAPTER 16.04 (CONSTRUCTION CODES) OF TITLE 16 (BUILDINGS AND CONSTRUCTION) OF THE WEED MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADOPT BY REFERENCE THE CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS, TITLE 24, 2025 EDITION OF THE CALIFORNIA BUILDING STANDARDS CODE INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING PARTS: PART 1 - California Administrative Code; PART 2 - California Building Code including listed Appendix Chapters; PART 2.5 – California Residential Code including listed Appendix Chapters; PART 3 - California Electrical Code; PART 4 - California Mechanical Code including listed Appendix Chapters; PART 5 - California Plumbing Code including listed Appendix Chapters; PART 6 - California Energy Code; PART 7 – California Wildland-Urban Interface Code; PART 8 - California Historical Building Code; PART 9 - California Fire Code including listed Appendix Chapters; PART 10 - California Existing Building Code; PART 11 – California Green Building Standards Code; PART 12 - California Referenced Standards Code Written comments should be directed to Sandra Duchi, City Clerk, P.
