Unofficial Condensed Minutes of the Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Iowa Schools Joint Investment Trust The quarterly meeting of the Board of Trustees was held on May 21, 2026 at the Iowa Association of School Boards office, 6000 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa, and electronically, via Zoom. Elizabeth Brennan, Chair and Trustee, called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. Also present were: Trustees: Chad Crabb, Greg Ebeling, Jim Green, Shashank Aurora, Jared McDonald, D.T. Magee, Ex-officio Trustee and Secretary; and Calvin VandeKrol, Ex-officio Assistant Secretary. Guests: Stephanie Rousseau, Kristin Cooper, Charlie Czachor (via Zoom), Anita Tracy, Rajesh Chainani, Laurie Mount, Bethany Jessen, Cam Draude, Caleb Walter, Tony Ryan (via Zoom), Jennifer Vucinovich (via Zoom) and Kate O'Connor (via Zoom). The Board unanimously approved (Shashank not present) the agenda and the minutes of the January 27, 2026 meeting. The Board unanimously approved electing Anthony Ryan as Trustee effective July 1, 2026 for a term ending September 2027 (Shashank not present). The Board reviewed and approved the quarterly and compliance reports from the Treasurer, Administrator (Shashank not present), Marketer, Advisor, Custodian, and Legal Counsel. After discussion, the Board unanimously approved the FY2027 Administration Fund Budget (0.75 bp) as presented, the renewal of D&O/E&O insurance coverage, and the Creative Planning, LLC audit engagement letter for FY2027. D.T. Magee facilitated a discussion on the onboarding process of new board members. The Board reviewed and unanimously approved the list of financial depositories. The Board reviewed meeting dates for calendar years 2026 and 2027 which were unanimously approved. The meeting was adjourned at 12:06 p.m. The Board unanimously approved for payment, the following schedule of bills: Ahlers & Cooney P.C. $8,576; PMA $442,072.13; RBC GAM $155,918.21; IASB $260,036.82; US Bank $8,656.17; Fitzgerald, Smith & Associates $3,000.
