NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BOILING SPRINGS FIRE DISTRICT PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027 OPERATING BUDGET   Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held before the Boiling Springs Fire District Board of Fire Control, the governing body of the Boiling Springs Fire District, to discuss the proposed operating budget for its fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027.   The hearing will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the District Office located at 505 Hartness Drive, Greenville, SC 29615.   The regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Boiling Springs Fire District Board of Fire Control will begin immediately following the budget public hearing.   The budget for the current fiscal year calls for revenues of $7,257,662 and expenditures of $7,344,892.   The proposed budget for the fiscal year 2026-2027 calls for revenues of $7,682,206 and expenditures of $7,596,122. Ad valorem property tax in the amount of 26.3 Mills is proposed for the Fire District to partially meet the operational needs for Fiscal Year 2026-27. There is no millage increase over the current year.   Currently, the proposed 26.3 Mills, for illustration purposes, would result in ad valorem property tax in the amount of $105.20 levied against an owner-occupied home with an appraised value of $100,000.   A copy of the proposed budget is on file in the District Office located at 505 Hartness Drive, Greenville, SC 29615.
