PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice of a public hearing is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (Act 247 and 170 as amended) and the Greene Township Code (as amended). The purpose of said public hearing is for the Greene Township Zoning Hearing Board to hear an appeal submitted by Randy A. Kunkleman, 4944 Cumberland Highway Chambersburg, PA 17202 concerning a written determination that was issued by the Greene Township Zoning Officer on April 8, 2026 regarding validity of residential use of property located at 4750 Cumberland Highway, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Said property is owned by Milton and Stacey Rotz, 1015 Heritage Avenue, Shippensburg, PA 17257. The subject property is located in the R-1 (Low Density Residential) Zoning District and is improved with a single family dwelling unit as well as various residential accessory structures. Appeal is in reference to Article IX, Section 909.1.(a)(3) of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. The public hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 in the Greene Township Building Meeting Room, 1145 Garver Lane, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Hearing is open to the public.
